Day 5

We have visited Huanglong national park. Also a beautiful place. The guide says it takes about 4 to 5 hours to visit the whole park but for us it took almost the whole day. Not only because we took so many photos but we had to walk up about 5km uphill to about 3300m. This is quite challanging if you are not used to the elevation and the lack of oxygen. The park is full of places where you could stop for a rests, also there are many small bungalows where you could get extra O2 if you need.

There are basically two tracks in the park, we took the normal track up and the one in the forest down. It was a good idea because by the time we started to come down it was very warm and the sun was shining...

From the top you could see the highest mountain of Huanglong which is 5568m, the peak is covered with snow.
